Portfolio

One platform. One acquisition. One company.

Buy and build is easy to claim and hard to prove. This page sets out what we have actually done since January 2025, verifiable through public sources.

tecRacer

tecRacer is one of the longest-standing and most established AWS partners in the German-speaking market, founded in 2006 by Sven Ramuschkat and today an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and Advanced Tier Training Partner with around 120 employees across nine locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Portugal.

When we came in in January 2025, the technical substance was beyond doubt. What was missing was the structure to build a European platform from it: a leadership organisation beyond the founder, an operating model that can carry acquisitions, and a portfolio that reaches past project work.

What has happened since
January 2025
Partnership with IT Capital Partners. Majority stake, the founder stays on board.
2025
Operational reset. A new operating model with four business units, and a leadership tier built alongside the founder.
January 2026
Change at the top. Rachel Linnemann, previously T-Systems, takes over as CEO. Sven Ramuschkat moves into the role of Founder & Principal Technology Advisor, planned succession rather than a break.
February 2026
Partnership with Nuvibit for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. Positioning in digital sovereignty.
March 2026
First add-on: KaWa commerce. The proof that the platform can absorb acquisitions.
2026
Three new AWS competencies in a single year: AI Services, Digital Sovereignty Services and Business Value Realization.
Ongoing
Building recurring revenue from managed services, and further acquisitions along the platform strategy.
At T-Systems I was responsible for all three hyperscalers, across the board. I came to tecRacer for the depth: one hyperscaler, one European platform, and the mandate to build it.”

I ran tecRacer for twenty years and did not want it to disappear inside a corporate group. Today there is a CEO, four business units and acquisitions, and I do the thing I am best at.”

KaWa commerce eCommerce Performance on AWS
Add-on Acquired March 2026

KaWa commerce

KaWa commerce was founded in 2016 by Katrin Galambos-Huber and Walter Huber in St. Stefan im Lavanttal, Carinthia, with a second location in Vienna. The company is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and specialises in running e-commerce platforms on AWS reliably and at speed, with cloud-native and serverless architectures and one of the strongest Magento capabilities in Europe. Customers include RX Global, Simpli, Gabor and the ORS Group.

Why this acquisition

An add-on has to do more than add revenue. KaWa brings three things at once that tecRacer would otherwise have had to build one at a time:

An offering ready to sell. KaWa’s capability turned straight into the solution offering “eCommerce Performance on AWS”: standardised architecture and operating models instead of a project that starts from scratch with every customer.

A real country organisation. tecRacer had been present in Austria since 2019, but without operational substance. With the KaWa team, Austria becomes a full country organisation with its own delivery and its own sales.

Entrepreneurial continuity. Both founders have stayed on board and run tecRacer Austria. That is exactly what integration should look like here: local independence in the market, a shared platform behind it.

We run Austria with our own delivery and our own sales. That was not just in the term sheet, it has held from day one.”

Ten years running my own company, then part of a group. I had my reservations about that. More has stayed than I expected.”

Does your company fit this structure: as a platform or as an acquisition?

We are looking for the next platform in the DACH region and for further add-ons for tecRacer across Europe. A first conversation is confidential and without obligation.
